Antonio Sticchi was born and raised in Naples, where the original pizza comes from. He serves authentic food from the Neapolitan country kitchen, and he likes to share his own experience. Therefore, he has also written the cookbook “Without a compromise - my Neapolitan country kitchen”, which can be bought in the restaurant. At Sticchi's, we are proud to be the first in Denmark to be approved by “Associazione verace pizza Napoletana”.
This association has been carefully selected by the EU commission to guarantee the same flavour experience (see link), that you can only find in Naples’s streets. The purpose is to protect the original version against imitations.
As a member, we are committed to following certain guidelines that guarantee that the finished product is authentic and reflects Neapolitan traditions. The association determines both raw materials and manufacturing methods.The Neapolitan composition of our delicious and carefully selected ingredients guarantees the preparation of the genuine Neapolitan Pizza STG (Traditional Speciality Guaranteed).

UDEN KOMPROMIS – Mit napolitanske landkøkken er en lille kogebog med nogle af Antonio Sticchis bedste opskrifter fra det napolitanske køkken, som er hans store passion. Antonio Sticchi ejer pizzeriaet Sticchi’s i Aalborg, og hans pizzaer er blevet kåret til byens bedste. Antonio Sticchi fortæller om sin baggrund og om tankerne bag det napolitanske landkøkken i håb om at inspirere andre til at lave god mad ud fra deres egne traditioner og efter de originale opskrifter – mad uden kompromis.
I december 2017 blev den napolitanske pizza kåret som verdenskulturarv under UNESCO, og Sticchi’s i Aalborg er det eneste pizzeria i hele Danmark, der er officielt godkendt af Associazione Verace Pizza Napoletana til at servere denne pizza, som kaldes Vera Pizza.
Bogen kan naturligvis også købes hos Sticchi’s i Aalborg, hvor der ved samme lejlighed er mulighed for at prøve den ægte vare.
